It does tend to be a little darker than expected but I am happy with the results. We bought a house with what we thought was a really old deck. After powerwashing, cleaning, and sanding, we sealed it with Thompson’s timber oil in Natural colour. Natural is not clear, that was disappointing but it is what it is… The wood sucked it up like it was the first rain after the dry season.
